    Frequently asked

What counts as a new machine?
Rent-to-own applies to new, unused machines supplied through IronYard and AAC. Used stock is offered on standard rental terms.
What happens at the end of the term?
Ownership transfer at the end of the term is governed by the signed agreement, which sets out the final settlement position before the machine transfers to you.
Can I rent first and convert later?
Yes — many contractors start on standard hire while utilisation is proven and then move onto a rent-to-own structure on a new machine. Subject to approval. T&Cs apply.
    What documents are needed?
Company registration and director details, recent bank statements, financials or management accounts, and details of the contract or site the machine will work on.
    Which areas are served?
Cape Town, Johannesburg and Mpumalanga are the primary campaign metros. Machines are placed elsewhere in South Africa on enquiry.
What if my contract ends early?
Talk to us before the contract ends. Options depend on the agreement in place and the remaining term — the position is confirmed in writing, subject to approval.
