What equipment types do these terms cover?

These terms cover every listing on IronYard — excavators, TLBs, dozers, graders, front end loaders, tipper trucks, tractors, harvesters, forklifts, telehandlers, bowsers, trailers and all other heavy equipment categories on the marketplace.

Does IronYard own the equipment listed?

No. IronYard is a marketplace and brokerage. Equipment is owned by the seller (private operator, dealer or fleet owner) until sold and paid for by the buyer.

Who is responsible for verifying machine condition?

Buyers are responsible for due diligence. We strongly recommend a pre-purchase inspection — our team can arrange one in any South African province.

How is buyer contact information shared?

Verified buyer contact details may be shared with the seller of a listing the buyer enquires on, strictly to facilitate that transaction. See our Privacy section above.

How will I know if these terms change?

We post updates on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of IronYard after that date means you accept the updated terms.

IronYard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our platform or services. Our liability is limited to the fees paid to us for our services.

6. Privacy
