The PC200 tends to appeal to operators who value hydraulic feel and fuel economy; the 320 appeals to fleets that value parts ubiquity above all else.

    PC200-8, -10 and -11 — what changed

    The PC200-8 brought KOMTRAX telematics, a genuinely modern cab and much cleaner hydraulics. It's the generation that convinced the SA market Komatsu was a real alternative to CAT. The PC200-10 added Tier 4 Interim compliance and an even more efficient hydraulic system. The PC200-11 is the current model — LED lighting, upgraded cab, ISO/SAE selectable controls and better cooling. All three are excellent machines; the -8 is the value pick, the -10 is the balanced pick, the -11 is the long-hold pick.
